Chimera appeared in 81 games with Washington last season, recording 10 goals and 16 assists. The 32-year-old has 98 goals, 117 assists and 580 penalty minutes in 581 career regular-season games with Edmonton, Columbus and Washington. In 22 career playoff games, he has three goals and seven assists.
